I conducted my PhD research between 1992 and 1997 in the
My supervisor was Professor Roberto Cipolla.
My PhD dissertation on Uncalibrated Stereo Vision and Hand-Eye Coordination is now on line. I investigated the use of uncalibrated and weakly calibrated stereo to guide a robot manipulator to grasp unmodelled objects. The approach was based on self-calibration using visual feedback, and the detection and tracking of planar features in weak perspective.
